OVERVIEW
Two high specification four-bedroom houses featuring a double height entrance and large rear bifold doors, key selling points which help in setting these houses apart from the typical new housing schemes in the area.
Typical barn materials are used to form the composition of the building elevations. Standardising the design of the two buildings allowed for the details and construction to be simplified. However, one of the units is clad in charred larch whilst the other has a natural finish which overtime, will weather grey. In so doing creating a subtle and affordable variation in the external appearance.
